The Higher Education Snooker and Pool Council is the official governing body for
higher education snooker and pool on the island of Ireland. HESPC exists solely
to promote the playing of cue sports in the HE sector and to encourage competitive
international fixtures with comparable teams from Great Britain. Our two major events
each year are the snooker intervarsities held before Christmas, and the pool intervarsities
at the start of February.
