Irish Intervarsity Championships

The Irish Intervaristy Snooker Championships are held annually at the beginning of December.

In 2007, the Irish Universities Championships was held for the first time at Spawell Golf Centre in Templeogue, Dublin. The snooker tables at Spawell are of the highest quality and have helped to ensure the continued success of the tournament. Previously, the championships were held at Celbridge Snooker Club in Celbridge, Co Kildare, which has long been recognised as a top tournament venue.

NUIM "A" (Maynooth) are the current team champions.

The individual title is held by Tom McKeown, also of NUIM.
